Everyone, by now, has heard all about the evil “White Supremacist” and “Hater,” James Von Brunn, of course. How could you not with all the relentless propaganda now spewing forth out of mainstream Jew TV, 24-7?

Double-parking his car, the WWII vet and PT boat captain, 88 year-old Von Brunn (I bet the “Von” really gets those Nazi haters) went into the “National” Holocaust Museum and fired some kind of antique 22 caliber rifle, killing the brave, yet kindly Negro guard — supposedly, he even opened the door for the doddering, but still hateful old geezer, they now make sure to say.

While I certainly never have advocated violence or any criminal acts on this blog (get that one straight Jew Junior G-men), I do indeed understand Von Brunn’s motivations and frustrations. Although I’d never even heard of the guy before yesterday, I quickly looked over his website right before it was taken down. The above quote, by the great Roman constitutionalist and orator Cicero, was featured prominently on the website for his book “Even the Best of the Gentiles should be killed.” This title was taken from a quote from the Jewish Talmud. But we’ll never hear any real explanation or discussion about that in the news, now will we?

“I have to admire the residents of Iroquois territory for assuming that they have a right to determine where Jews live in Jerusalem.”

Thus did Israeli government press director Daniel Seamen caustically dismiss President Obama’s opposition to Israel’s right to “natural growth” of its settlements in Arab East Jerusalem and on the West Bank.

Though Obama’s address in Cairo broke no new ground, it confirmed to the world that a new day has arrived and a sea change has taken place. The Israel-centric Middle East policy of George W. Bush is dead. And with the policy change has come rhetorical change.

With Bush, it was “axis of evil,” “you are with us or you are with the terrorists,” “regime change,” a “green light” for war on Hezbollah in Lebanon and on Hamas in Gaza, and “this war is a struggle between good and evil.”

With Obama in Cairo, it was all about “a new beginning” and “mutual respect” between the United States and an Islamic world of 1.2 billion.

Where Bush sought to isolate Syria as a state sponsor of terror, Obama has sent diplomats and is sending the U.S. military to Damascus to work together to halt al-Qaeda infiltration into Iraq. Return of the Golan Heights may be back on the table.

Where Bush said Iraq’s drive for weapons of mass destruction threatened America and the world, Obama calls Iraq “a war of choice,” and re-commits to bring all U.S. combat troops home before 2012 and to seek no permanent bases there.

Where Israeli hawks push for preemptive U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Obama says Iran “should have the right to access peaceful nuclear power if it complies with its responsibilities under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.”

Niccolò Machiavelli, who was a sort of Karl Rove of his day, though with more integrity, said of the Swiss that they were “the most free and most armed people” of Europe. Get it? The connection between arms and freedom?

That statement is still true of the Swiss. Many people know that they practice neutrality, but not many know that they practice armed neutrality. If the gun controllers’ claim that the mere presence of arms leads to mayhem were true, the Swiss would have wiped themselves out years ago. There are guns and gun ranges all over the place. You would be hard-pressed to find a Swiss home without a firearm and ammunition. Yet, the Swiss have a very low crime rate.

If you were a robber or a rapist, who would you rather have as a victim? Someone who is armed, or someone who is defenseless? Even a stupid criminal knows the answer to that question.

If the police can protect us – which is another claim the gun-control people make – then why are so many people murdered, raped and robbed? Even the television fictional stories tell you the answer to that. The cops get there after the crime has been committed. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a crime scene. Nearly all the cop shows open with the police looking at a dead, unarmed body.

In the bustling 19th century, Henry David Thoreau urged us to “simplify, simplify, simplify.”

In the even more hectic 20th and 21st centuries, writer, philosopher, and frugalista Wendy McElroy thinks the master of Walden made matters too complicated. She says just plain “simplify.”

But the question is: How?

A lot of us who move from the city to the country are seeking some form of simplicity. But simplicity ain’t so easy. For starters, we might have different ideas of what simplicity means.

Some crave the comprehensive frugality and small-scale living of the voluntary-simplicity movement—tiny homes, debt freedom, simple diets, low consumption, thoughtful actions, and a more modest impact on planet Earth. Others merely feel driven to get out of the rat race, or away from the crime, costs, traffic, and shallow lures of urban living; they know what they’re running from, but might only have a sketchy idea of what they’re running to. Maybe others have spent a lot of time in the backwoods, know the life well, and crave the sort of primitive living that would scare the bejabbers out of most of us. But how to get that is another thing.

So right from the start we face the complex questions of, “What do I really want?” and “What is achievable?”

Then, no matter what we’re seeking, as we’ve noted in these pages before, it’s pretty darned common for simplicity-seekers to land themselves in a soup of everyday complications. They might be different complications than those you’d meet at 5 p.m. on a Boston freeway or deep in the bowels of a Silicon Valley corporate office labyrinth. But they’re still complicated.

The basement just flooded. A calf must be pulled. Vandals cut the barbed-wire fence. The baler won’t bale. Drought killed the corn and a blight hit the apple trees. The youngest kid just fell into the pigpen and the oldest whines because there isn’t a mall within 50 miles. The elk that were so plentiful last year are nowhere to be found this fall and the freezer’s looking frighteningly empty. Cousin Ernie wants to move in and live the easy life with you, while Sister Sue is telling the rest of the family you’ve gone completely mad because you moved to a mud-filled mosquito bog instead of enjoying the pleasures of the multiplex and the gym.

And on some days, the multiplex and the gym sound pretty good to you, too. In fact, maybe they sound better—and simpler—than the “simple country life” you aimed for.

But don’t despair!

Simplicity might get complicated, but it can be simplified again. It’s mostly a matter of shucking the nonessential and keeping the rest of life in perspective.

I know this from long experience. The ten mini-lessons that follow are ones I’ve had to teach myself—sometimes repeatedly—over the years. But they do help—even when the person teaching the lesson and the person learning it are both full-fledged members of Densa, the society for the not-so-smart. (I know that from experience, too.)

Lost in Justin Raimondo’s torrent of mistaken assumptions and wild accusations is one useful question: What do “white nationalists” want? By putting the term in quotation marks, Mr. Raimondo has stumbled onto an important truth, namely, that there is no accepted term for contemporary Americans who still hold some of the views about race that were taken for granted by virtually all Americans until about the 1950s.

Until then, most people believed race was an important aspect of individual and group identity. They believed that the races differed in temperament and ability, and whites preferred the societies built by whites to those built by non-whites. They wanted the United States to be peopled by Europeans because they believed only people of European stock would maintain the civilization they valued. These views were so wide-spread, so taken for granted, so indisputable that there was no term for them. Just as there was no name for people who expected the sun to rise in the East, there was no name for people whose views are today sometimes given the clumsy term “white nationalism.”

The national-origins immigration policy that lasted until 1965 embodied this basic understanding of race. As one of the supporters of that policy, Congressman William Vaile of Colorado explained in 1924, “[the United States] is a good country. It suits us. And what we assert is that we are not going to surrender it to somebody else or allow other people, no matter what their merits, to make it something different.” I might add that even if this sentiment shocks Americans today, it is exactly the view of their own country held by virtually every Japanese, Israeli, or Mexican.

What perhaps most succinctly characterizes those whom Mr. Raimondo calls “white nationalists” is the conviction that it was a terrible mistake to abandon national-origins quotas and throw the United States open to immigration from everywhere. As Senator Sam Ervin of North Carolina wondered at the time: “What is wrong with the national origins of the American people?  What is wrong with maintaining them? What is wrong with preferring as immigrants one’s own kinsmen?” There were no good answers to those questions then and there is none today.

I believe Sam Ervin—and Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt—shared my desire for a country in which our ancestors were respected as pioneers and statesmen, not reviled as murderers and thieves. I believe they wanted a country in which their children’s children would walk in the ways of their forebears, sing the same songs, worship the same God, revere the same heroes, and proudly carry forward the civilization and culture of the West. I am certain they believed this would be possible only in a nation whose majority people were the biological heirs to the creators of that culture and civilization.

My hopes for the land in which my descendants will live are no different from those of virtually every person who has ever lived anywhere. The idea that nothing will be lost if a founding population is replaced with aliens is a new disease that strikes only whites. Our Mexican neighbors would scoff at the notion that “diversity” is a strength or that millions of English-speaking, white-skinned immigrants were a form of “cultural enrichment.” They would be astonished at the idea of elevating to a position of power a gringa who claimed white women made better decisions than Mexican men. In all these things they could not be more natural, normal, or healthy. It is we who have betrayed the ideals of our ancestors and diced with our children’s future by opening the doors to dispossession.

This is something that goes on all over the nation, and there is rarely a peep in the media. The Baltimore Sun ran an article about the alarming number of people assaulted by “juveniles.”

All mentions of race is almost completely censored by the Sun, however there is one brief mention at the bottom.

The attackers are severely beating their victims, and in most cases do not even steal items. In some of the attacks, one of the attackers video tapes the assault.

Besides the black on black double stabbing mentioned, the assaults mentioned in the Baltimore Sun are were all committed against whites, by groups of blacks. The brutal attacks were purely motivated by a hatred of white people. However you will never hear the so-called “mainstream” media admit that there are widespread racially motivated assaults of whites going on all across the nation.

Unless you live on another planet, you presumably know there has been a lot of talk this past week concerning Mr. Obama’s nomination for the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor. In 2001 Judge Sonia said Latina women judges make better judges than white men. While you know (or should already know if you’ve been paying attention) that she is a racially conscious Hispanic female with anti-white proclivities, countless analysts’ media figures and politicians have duly noted the long term ramifications of her appointment because of her racially charged statements and related rulings as a judge. 

Heaven knows the internet is deluged with what she said (here). And if you look into her history you will note she is a product of Ivy League brainwashing. Cloistered in leftist dogma that regularly denigrates Western man as being supremely evil she (like Barack Obama) received only the best multicultural conditioning in the most prestigious “schools” and then took it to work with her. 

And I say good. I’m glad Ms. Sotomayor and her racial supremacy idiom is vexing so many people. I’m glad this issue has come to weigh upon the American consciousness because even the most wishy-washy egalitarians, libertarians and other cowards are at least noting the double standard. I’m glad the taboo dialogue over race has been breached again in spite of the controlled media’s hypocrisy; a brand of hypocrisy which says in no uncertain terms that only non-whites are allowed to be racially attentive. I’m glad we know that Ms. Sotomayor is a member of LaRaza and various other anti-white supremacist organizations. I’m glad the controlled media is screeching that European Americans ought to support her not only because of her gender but that we should all support her because of her anti-white views.

As the fifth in the “Armed self-defense” series intended for both long-time shooters and the many new gun owners created by the Obama administration, this segment examines slightly more advanced techniques as taught by veteran instructors Tom Iradi and Scott Mauldin of Eagle Rock Training Systems.

Previous segments have discussed decisions in buying firearms for self-defense, getting basic training, getting concealed handgun permits, and basic defensive pistolcraft.

This course, “Practical/Tactical Phase II” (P/T II), covered:

• Turns and pivots intended for threats to the side or behind;
• Movement while shooting, including forward, aft and laterally;
• Use of cover on both strong hand and support hand sides; and
• Complex exercises encompassing most of the above plus emergency reloads.

RANGE BRIEFING

P/T II was the second day of training, and drew a number of shooters not in class the previous day. Accordingly, Scott repeated the safety briefing on “hot range” safety rules for an environment in which guns are generally kept loaded but holstered between exercises.

MORNING EXERCISES

We started with a review of press-outs to the target from a high ready (with shots delivered at or slightly before extension), presentation from the holster, reloads, and tracking the firearm’s sights through increasingly shorter intervals between shots.

Although initial shooting was done on IDPA-style cardboard silhouettes, the instructors quickly changed things up, shifting to 8” steel plates mounted atop 2×4s and moving us back to the 10 yard line consistent with safety when shooting steel. (Note: Even at this range, expect to receive occasional splatter from jacketed bullets.)

Among different types of targets, the ring of steel plates provides instant reward for shots delivered correctly … and instant punishment for those that miss.

PIVOTS & TURNS

Next, we addressed threats to the side and rear. Here I learned something valuable: When pivoting toward the support hand side (left, for right-handed shooters), I had previously rotated on the ball of the support hand foot, causing me to over-pivot and requiring me to rise while pivoting, further slowing the shot.

Instead, after taking a “ready” position – eyes turned toward the threat, hand on holster – Scott taught us to simply step out with the strong side foot, then pivot the hips square to the target, resulting in much faster hits. Threats to the strong side were even easier, as the support side foot simply steps forward for the pivot.

North Korea is a small place. China alone could snuff it out in a few minutes. Yet the president of the U.S. thinks that nothing less than the entire world is a match for North Korea.

We are witnessing the Washington gangsters construct yet another threat like Slobodan Milosevic, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, John Walker Lindh, Yaser Hamdi, José Padilla, Sami al-Arian, Hamas, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the hapless detainees demonized by former secretary of defense Rumsfeld as “the 700 most dangerous terrorists on the face of the earth,” who were tortured for six years at Gitmo only to be quietly released. Just another mistake, sorry.

The military/security complex that rules America, together with the Israel Lobby and the banksters, needs a long list of dangerous enemies to keep the taxpayers’ money flowing into its coffers.

The Homeland Security lobby is dependent on endless threats to convince Americans that they must forgo civil liberty in order to be safe and secure.

The real question: who is going to stand up to the American and Israeli governments?

Who is going to protect Americans’ and Israelis’ civil liberties, especially those of Israeli dissenters and Israel’s Arab citizens?

Who is going to protect Palestinians, Iraqis, Afghans, Lebanese, Iranians, and Syrians from Americans and Israelis?

Not Obama, and not the right-wing brownshirts who today rule Israel.

One of Canada’s top Arctic archeologists says the remnants of a stone-and-sod wall unearthed on southern Baffin Island may be traces of a shelter built more than 700 years ago by Norse seafarers, a stunning find that would be just the second location in the New World with evidence of a Viking-built structure.

The tantalizing signs of a possible medieval Norse presence in Nunavut were found at the previously examined Nanook archeological site, about 200 kilometres southwest of Iqaluit, where people of the now-extinct Dorset culture once occupied a stretch of Hudson Strait shoreline.

A UNESCO World Heritage site at northern Newfoundland’s L’Anse aux Meadows — about 1,500 kilometres southeast of the Nanook dig — is the only confirmed location of a Viking settlement in North America. There, about 1,000 years ago, it’s believed a party of Norse voyagers from Greenland led by Leif Eiriksson built sod-and-wood dwellings before abandoning their colonization attempt under threat from hostile natives they called “Skraelings.”

However, over the past 10 years, research teams led by the Canadian Museum of Civilization’s chief of Arctic archeology, Pat Sutherland, have compiled evidence from field studies and archived collections that strongly suggests the Norse presence in northern Canada didn’t end with Eiriksson’s retreat from Newfoundland.

At three sites on Baffin Island, which the Norse called “Helluland” or “land of stone slabs,” and another in northern Labrador, the researchers have documented dozens of suspected Norse artifacts such as Scandinavian-style spun yarn, distinctively notched and decorated wood objects and whetstones for sharpening knives and axes.

Since when did securing a Supreme Court seat become a high hurdles contest? The White House and Democrats have turned Second Circuit Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination into a personal Olympic event. Pay no attention to her jurisprudence. She grew up in a Bronx public housing project. She was diagnosed with childhood diabetes at 8. Her father died a year later.

And, oh, by the way, did you hear that she was poor?

It’s a “compelling personal story,” as we heard 20,956 times on Tuesday. Sotomayor’s a “real” person. Why, she even read Nancy Drew as a young girl, President Obama told us. She’s “faced down barriers, overcome the odds and lived out the American dream that brought her parents here so long ago,” Obama said. [Full text]

If Sotomayor were auditioning to be Oprah Winfrey’s fill-in host, I’d understand the over-the-top hyping of her life narrative. But isn’t anybody on Sotomayor’s side the least bit embarrassed by all this liberal condescension?

Republicans are not allowed to mention Sotomayor’s ethnicity lest they be branded bigots, but every Democrat on cable television harped on her multicultural “diversity” and “obstacle”-climbing. Obama made sure to roll his r’s when noting that her parents came from Puerrrrto Rrrrico. New York Sen. Charles Schumer stated outright: “It’s long overdue that a Latino sit on the United States Supreme Court.” Color-coded tokenism dominated the headlines, with blaring references to Sotomayor as the high court’s potential “first Hispanic.”

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill—one of the leading Democrats tasked with guiding Sotomayor through the nomination process—carried the “compelling personal story” talking points to the tokenist extreme in an interview on Fox News:

“If you look at what this woman has been through, and the obstacles that she has had to overcome, I think she does have a richly, uniquely American experience that makes her incredibly qualified to pass judgment on some of the most important cases in our country,” McCaskill asserted. “Overcoming incredible odds, and I think that is an experience that is new to the courts. There have been a lot of privileged people that have landed on the Supreme Court. The fact that she has lived the life of the common American, trying to grow up in public housing, reaching for scholarships, reaching for the courtroom as a courtroom prosecutor, all of those things will make her a better and wiser judge. And I don’t think that is identity politics. I think that is the American experience.”

Clever. Challenging Sotomayor’s credentials and extreme views on race and the law is not merely anti-Hispanic. It’s anti-American!

Do the Zionist Jews own Hollywood and the media? Are they using the media to mold and shape American opinion by constantly injecting Zionist propaganda and bias into news programs, movies, television shows, even children’s cartoons and entertainment?

The answer is so blatantly “Yes!” that you wouldn’t think these questions are even worth pursuing. But recently, the untoward comments of a patriot talk show host made me stop and rethink it. Are there people out there-even in the Patriot Movement-who really are that much in the dark, who deny Jewish influence in the media?

Recently, when a caller to a talk show on the Genesis Radio Network suggested that the Jews control the media, the host went wild. He raged on and on, playing the race card. He branded the surprised caller and others like him who are weary of Zionist influence “Nazis” and “anti-Semites.” Angrily, he denied Jewish involvement in any conspiracies and ridiculed those who had the audacity to suggest that Jews run Hollywood or the media. Then, in a real fit of spewed venom, the talk show host demanded that the caller and all others who believe like him should go out and hang themselves to promote population reduction.

As if that wasn’t hateful enough, the pro-Zionist host then stated that all the “Nazis and Anti-Semites” who opposed Zionism and the Jews should plug in an electric toaster, hold it to their naked bodies, jump into a bathtub filled with water, and have a party.” In other words, kill themselves.

Quite a rampage by the supposedly “patriot” talk show host. And all because the poor caller had dared to propose undue Jewish influence over the media.

Hearing the actual taped broadcast of this unbelievable tirade by a pro-Zionist advocate confirmed my resolve to inform good folks once again of the truly dictatorial grip that Zionist Jews have on the media. The best way to do this is not to rage and spew venom, but simply to present the facts, to document the truth of Jewish control of the media.

What Do Knowledgeable Jews Say? How about going to top Jews in the media themselves and see what they say? Take Joel Stein, for example, columnist for the Los Angeles Times newspaper and regular contributor to Time magazine. In his column in the LA Times (Dec. 19, 2008), Stein says that Americans who think the Jews do not control Hollywood and the media are just plain “dumb.”

“Jews totally run Hollywood.” Stein proudly admits. He then goes on to provide a long, long list of Hollywood/media chieftains-all Jews!-to prove his point. On his list: Fox News President Peter Chernin; Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey; Walt Disney CEO Robert Igor; Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton; Warner Brothers Chairman Barry Meyer; CBS CEO Leslie Moonves; MGM Chairman Harry Sloan; and NBC/Universal Studios CEO Jeff Zucker.

Most of Satan’s work in the world he takes care to keep hidden. But two small shafts of light have been thrown onto his work for me just recently. The first, a short article in the Association of Catholic Women’s ACW Review; the second, a remark (which at first surprised me) from a priest in Russia who claimed that we now, in the West, live in a Communist society. These shafts of light help, especially, to explain the onslaught of officialdom which in many countries worldwide has so successfully been removing the rights of parents to be the primary educators and protectors of their children.

The ACW Review examined the corrosive work of the ‘Frankfurt School’ – a group of German-American [JEWISH] scholars who developed highly provocative and original perspectives on contemporary society and culture, drawing on Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche, Freud, and Weber. Not that their idea of a ‘cultural revolution’ was particularly new. ‘Until now’, wrote Joseph, Comte de Maistre (1753-1821) who for fifteen years was a Freemason, ‘nations were killed by conquest, that is by invasion: But here an important question arises; can a nation not die on its own soil, without resettlement or invasion, by allowing the flies of decomposition to corrupt to the very core those original and constituent principles which make it what it is.’

What was the Frankfurt School? Well, in the days following the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, it was believed that workers’ revolution would sweep into Europe and, eventually, into the United States. But it did not do so. Towards the end of 1922 the Communist International (Comintern) began to consider what were the reasons. On Lenin’s initiative a meeting was organised at the Marx-Engels Institute in Moscow.

I tried to warn people that we’re going down a slippery slope toward losing Free Speech. I tried to warn people that things would get worse (especially for the right wing) if Obama entered the White House, and that his “nice guy” image was nothing, but camouflage for yet another puppet for sinister forces. Most Americans told themselves “It can’t happen here.” The hell it can’t. Believe it, people. It’s happening.

According to Wired.com, “Proposed congressional legislation would demand up to two years in prison for those whose electronic speech is meant to ‘coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person.’ Instead of prison, perhaps we should say gulag.”

Ah, yes. There is the legal concept that the liberal left has sought to introduce into our statute books: illegal speech and thought crimes. They want to bring in a legally recognized crime of “inflicting emotional distress.” Need we ask just whose emotions would be so tenderly protected under such laws? Aren’t some people offended by the truth? So we have to punish people who tell the truth because America has millions of liberals, Jews and minorities who get offended by the truth?

The article notes “The proposal by Rep. Linda Sanchez, D-Los Angeles, would never pass First Amendment muster, unless the U.S. Constitution was altered without us knowing. So Sanchez, and the 14 other lawmakers who signed on to the proposal, are grandstanding to show the public they care about children and are opposed to cyberbullying.”

I often get mail from readers inquiring on what to do to advance the cause of secession in their respective locales. So I’d like to discuss a few ideas on how it has worked in the past and how it may work in the future. I would first dispose of the canard that it is traitorous or unpatriotic to consider this. Do you suppose our rulers in DC abide by the rule of law, see the Constitution (I prefer the DI) as a bedrock document and seek to respect the real diversity in America (not the silly race, class & gender motif)? That diversity is the vast gulf in tolerance for levels of government as opposed to governance. Government is the command and control apparatus to manipulate people through coercion and violence.

The distinction is that governance can occur in a minarchist or stateless realm because it runs the gamut from forms of external control to the personal controls of one’s own nature and relationship in society. Positive self-governance is the ability not only to do right by yourself but use your self-interest to serve others e.g., a business or voluntary work in a community and do them no harm. You have to ask whether your own philosophical ideas emanate from law or party; from conviction or the desire to get ahead at other people’s expense. You have to pry out the deeper recesses of who you are to divine what your motivations are in your community. If you conclude that in order for you to get ahead in life, you must use the vicious power of government to achieve this, secession may not fit you. The new regime in town will see that your needs are answered…for a while. Until they run out of money or create a state so suffocating that 1984 looks like a resort lifestyle.

The first task is to educate yourself on the ideas that would inspire such radical measures as secession. From whence does your conviction come? In a previous essay, I recommended a number of books on the subject. I would also add Thomas Naylor’s thin tome, Secession, as a great primer on the whole notion. There are a rather small number of books that deal directly with the secession issue. Yet, if we look at the vast number of books published since 1750 which deal with the precursors and history of both the First (1775–83) and Second (1860–65) American Revolutions the books start to increase tremendously which tangentially or directly deal with the notion.

The “Hate Crimes Prevention Bill” will be in the Senate Judiciary Committee this week. It recently passed the House, causing the Anti-Defamation League to rejoice. The ADL called the law “an essential and necessary step forward in the national effort to counter hate crimes” and urged passage by the Senate.

It also congratulated itself on taking a leadership role in promoting this legislation for the last 10 years. Other Jewish organizations have also been at the forefront of promoting “hate crime” legislation in the US and throughout the West.

Needless to say, here are very sound reasons to oppose this legislation. “Hate Crime” laws are superfluous, since crimes such as murder or assault are crimes whatever the motivation. Moreover, as Paul Craig Roberts recently pointed out there is a pronounced tendency for American legislation to metastasize into regulations far different and much more sweeping than the enactors envisaged (or admitted). This alone is reason enough to oppose any legislative advance into the areas of motivation or opinion. It is inevitable that “Hate Crimes” will quickly come to include political speech, specifically on immigration.

Why are Jewish organizations so committed to this drive to abolish free speech? Sadly, such an attitude is entirely within the Jewish tradition. Jewish groups have a long history of powerful controls over group members, ranging from regulations on economic behavior and charity toward other Jews, to regulating behavior likely to give rise to anti-Semitism or likely to damage other interests of the group.

One aspect of this is that there was little history of free speech within traditional Jewish societies. Historically, Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky point out, rabbis and other elite members of the Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities had extraordinary power over other Jews— literally the power of life and death. And they were highly intolerant. Jews accused of heretical religious views were beaten or murdered. Their books were burned or buried in cemeteries. When a heretic died, his body was beaten by a special burial committee, placed in a cart filled with dung, and deposited outside the Jewish cemetery.

This repressive tradition continues. Notwithstanding the image of freely tolerating dissent within the Jewish community (”Two Jews, three opinions“), John Mearsheimer and Steven Walt have shown that on important issues like Israel, Jewish dissenters are marginalized and there is strong pressure to limit disagreement. Jews can criticize Israel but only out of public view. Mearsheimer and Walt note that pro-Israel activism is dominated by “hard-line Zionists, Orthodox, and neoconservative circles”. As has happened so often in Jewish history, the most committed Jews have determined the direction of the Jewish community, with the result that the leadership of pro-Israel organizations tends to be more radical than the rest of the American Jewish community

Already, elsewhere in the English-speaking world, the “Hate Crime” strategy has been used to repress views unwelcome to Jewish organizations.

Federal hate crimes bill S. 909 has now passed the House of Representatives and is in the Senate Judiciary Committee. As we anticipate Tuesday morning’s probable Senate Judiciary hearing on this bill, we should ask, “Who is behind this unthinkable, pedophile-protecting bill?”

Leaders of the Christian conservative right quickly respond, “Liberals and the homosexual lobby!”

Yes, these two groups lead a list as long as your arm of hate bill supporters. They inhabit the perverted legislative whore-house called “hate crimes law.” Yet they did not design and build the house. To know who did, visit www.adl.org, the website of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith. There, ADL proudly boasts of their “model anti-hate law” and persuading 45 US states to adopt it.

ADL’s orchestration of hate laws in over 55 Western nations, in addition to the US, is a long, dark story. This article presents a brief chronology of their conspiracy to steal freedom of speech. That attempt is now reaching a momentous climax, for good or evil, in the US Senate.

What is ADL?

B’nai B’rith (Sons of the Covenant) is an international Jewish religious, fraternal and educational, liberal activist organization. It describes itself as the heart and soul of organized world Jewry. It was founded in New York City in the mid-nineteenth century to further Jewish interests and community in America. In 1913, their Anti-Defamation League was created, ostensibly to combat emerging anti-Semitism.

ADL/B’nai B’rith does not represent the thinking of all Jews. Most American Jews are liberal (AP reported 81% voted for House Democrats in 2009); but a minority vehemently oppose ADL’s secularist agenda and bullying tactics. Rabbi Daniel Lapin warns that ADL (which he calls secular Judaism) is “in relentless attack” on evangelical Christians. His website has even listed a toll-free number for Christians and conservatives to call and report harassment and accusations of “anti-Semitism” from ADL. (1)

Today, there are roughly 200,000 members of B’nai B’rith International (with chapters and lodges in 55 Western nations). Many are Jewish activists who work behind the scenes in governments to pass hate crimes legislation and run hate crimes bureaucracies. ADL efforts have been spectacularly successful. Whether in California, Canada, Iceland, England or Australia—ADL’s terminology, twisted definitions and pretexts for hate crime indictments are identical. ADL phrases such as “bias-motivated hate crime,” “gender identity,” “actual or perceived sexual orientation,” etc., are enshrined in the hate crime laws of most Western industrialized nations today. If a yellow plastic arch rises from an urban horizon in Beijing, you know it comes from McDonald’s in America. So, too, we recognize ADL when pastors in Holland or Australia are indicted for “hate speech,” slapped with severe penalties and physically and financially exhausted in endless attempts to get free from hate crime indictment. ADL of America and Canada, ADL Europe, and ADL Australia are the super-powerful architects and enforcers of hate laws on three continents.

How powerful is ADL? Congressman John Rarrick (in the Congressional Record December 6, 1971) quoted Senator Jack Tenney of California: “The FBI and CIA are tinker toys compared to ADL.”

The elaborate pretenses that surround any discussion of Israel are fast making it impossible to say a word about that country without uttering a number of increasingly obvious lies.

We are, for example, supposed to believe that Israel is really a part of the West, when demographics – and the country’s radical political shift – point in the opposite direction. It is commonly asserted as incontrovertible fact that Israel is a democracy, just like us, the only one in a region ruled by monarchs, mullahs, and secular nationalist despots – and we aren’t supposed to notice its population of Palestinian helots in the occupied territories.

Defenders of Israeli government policies – the settlements, the repeated invasions of Lebanon, the prolonged agony of the West Bank and Gaza, the Wall of Separation – rationalize these actions by explaining that the country is beleaguered, a tiny island of Western liberal values in a sea of Arabic absolutism, one in constant threat of annihilation. Yet Israel is a military powerhouse, thanks to the US: its armies have beaten the combined Arab forces on several occasions, notably the Six Day War, and Tel Aviv has a trump card they could always play if that “existential threat” to its existence that we keep hearing about should ever materialize: a substantial nuclear arsenal.

The Israeli nuclear program began in 1949, when a special scientific unit was set up by the government for that express purpose, and they made some progress, but the effort couldn’t have succeeded without outside assistance, a technology transfer that would give the Israelis the ability to produce a functioning weapon.

France stepped into the breach, and offered assistance, in exchange for Israel’s invasion of the Sinai during the Suez crisis. French-Israeli cooperation was based on more than geopolitical advantage, however: the French were confronting the Arabs in Algeria, and the Egyptians, and the Israelis were their natural allies, and yet there was also an ideological motive. In solidarity with his fellow socialists in the Israeli Labor party, who dominated Israeli politics in the early years, French Socialist Prime Minister Guy Mollet is reported to have said, in private: “I owe the bomb to them.”

The US offered credible cover for the clandestine within the framework of the “Atoms for Peace” agreement initiated by President Dwight David Eisenhower: the building of a small, “swimming pool” reactor under this initiative effectively camouflaged the construction of the much larger nuclear facility at Dimona, where the Israeli nuclear arsenal was conceived and assembled.

In spite of the fact that the whole world knows, by now, the story of the Israeli nukes and how they came to be, thanks to the sacrifice of one man – Mordecai Vanunu – both the US and the government of Israel have kept up an elaborate pretense, ever since the Eisehower era, never alluding to Israel’s nukes, although the Israelis have indirectly alluded to their power to annihilate any city in the Middle East at will. The US, for its part, has maintained a discreet silence on the subject – until now.

A Louisiana driver was stopped and detained for having a “Don’t Tread on Me” bumper sticker on his vehicle and warned by a police officer about the “subversive” message it sent, according to the driver’s relative.

The situation developed in the small town of Ball, La., where a receptionist at the police department told WND she knew nothing about the traffic stop, during which the “suspect” was investigated for “extremist” activities, the relative said.

It followed by only a few weeks the release of a Department of Homeland Security report, “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment”, which prompted outrage from legislators and a campaign calling for the resignation of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The report, which cites individuals who sport certain bumper stickers on their vehicles as suspect, was delivered to tens of thousands of local law enforcement officers across the nation.

On October 16, 2004, President George W. Bush signed the Israel Lobby’s bill, the Global Anti-Semitism Review Act.  This legislation requires the US Department of State to monitor anti-semitism world wide.

To monitor anti-semitism, it has to be defined.  What is the definition?  Basically, as defined by the Israel Lobby and Abe Foxman, it boils down to any criticism of Israel or Jews.

Rahm Israel Emanuel hasn’t been mopping floors at the White House.
As soon as he gets the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 passed, it will become a crime for any American to tell the truth about Israel’s treatment of Palestinians and theft of their lands.

It will be a crime for Christians to acknowledge the New Testament’s account of Jews demanding the crucifixion of Jesus.

It will be a crime to report the extraordinary influence of the Israel Lobby on the White House and Congress, such as the AIPAC-written resolutions praising Israel for its war crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza that were endorsed by 100 per cent  of the US Senate and 99 per cent  of the House of Representatives, while the rest of the world condemned Israel for its barbarity.

It will be a crime to doubt the Holocaust.

It will become a crime to note the disproportionate representation of Jews in the media, finance, and foreign policy.

In other words, it means the end of free speech, free inquiry, and the First Amendment to the Constitution. Any facts or truths that cast aspersion upon Israel will simply be banned.

It was with some relief that I note the diversity worshiping zealots in the “lie-a-minute” newsroom at CNN have failed to get their latest blood sacrifice, when two teenagers in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, were found not guilty of the most serious charges against them in relation to the death of Mexican illegal immigrant Luis Ramirez.

The relief was tinged with anger, when I contemplated what could have been, and how much the likes of CNN wanted it to be. After seven hours of deliberation, the jury found that Derrick Donchak, 19, and Brandon Piekarsky, 17, were guilty of simple assault, but acquitted them of the cart-load of crowd pleasing charges, such as aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and ethnic intimidation piled on them by an obedient prosecution. Madly disproportionate charges which from even a cursory glance at the evidence were patently without merit, and which would never have been brought had it not been politically correct to do so.

Young white men in America now walk an even more precarious path than those in Britain, in that they must live with the daily threat that if they are attacked by a member of an ethnic minority, defend himself and come out on top, they are likely to face charges which could see them spending many years in prison. America may not have yet introduced the crime of racially motivated self-defense, but give them time, and they just might. Would anyone, be truly surprised to find that in ten years or so, the act of expressing a preference for pancakes over fajitas will constitute a chargeable offence?

The predictable white hating activists outside the court could depend upon a sympathetic hearing from a po-faced CNN Anchor woman, as, almost unable to disguise their disappointment, at being denied their feast of teenaged white flesh, they bewailed the “signals” which this verdict sent out. Yet as the ageing hypocrite at the CNN news-desk nodded her over lacquered head in agreement, one could not avoid a feeling of nausea knowing how much these two deeply dishonest people would have cheered the signals sent out, had those young boys been convicted of these outrageously unjustified charges, or if the races had been reversed and illegal immigrants had been acquitted of killing a white man.
